I grew up playing games, but joined the military after high school, where I served six years in the airborne infantry.
After getting out in 2013, I messed around for several years in Alaska, got married, and in September 2017 I discovered 3d. All the needless sacrifice and suffering in the army must have earned me some good karma, because since then my wife has patiently supported me while I practice nearly all day every day.
My goal is to get a job at a major studio alongside top talent in 2019. It may be a touch unrealistic, but all the time I was "building character" in the military, my peers were making awesome games and becoming leaders in their respective fields, so I have some catching up to do. To that end, I appreciate feedback from absolutely anybody about my my art. It really helps a lot. You don't need to bother being polite or anything -- you won't hurt my feelings and I'll love you forever if you can share some constructive criticism.
